My heart shatters each day our world suffers.
My heart breaks to know this morning will be someone’s last sunrise and this evening will be their last sunset.
My heart breaks to know children will be orphaned and parents martyred.
My heart breaks to know we are all the same and yet we choose to harm one another.
My heart breaks to know that one communities hate is causing another communities suffering.
And yet we are family…
We are one.
—
And like anything else that exists in this world, this too shall end.
This suffering will end. This pain. This hardship. This war. This hate. This ignorance…it will all end.
—
And I won’t turn a blind eye.
I won’t look away. As my world suffers, I suffer.
As Palestine is being pushed to the brink of extinction I too feel myself crumbling. And in the face of immense hate I choose love, because I can. Because I am fortunate enough to be able to distinguish ignorance from hate.
As our world continues to suffer and combat one another I hope we can turn to love in place of hate. I hope we can identify hate as ignorance.
Ignorance of our unanimous suffering. Of our collective quest for peace. Ignorance of our unity.
As we are all one. My suffering is yours just as my peace is yours.
I hope we can be fortunate enough to radiant infinite love in the face of hate. Till hate no longer has the power to harm us.
Removing its ammunition. It’s wind. It’s fire.
—
Hate crumbles in the face of love.
True love is infinite and knows no bounds.
True love does not judge.
True love does not question.
True love is unconditional.
True love is infinite.
True love is radiant.
Hate require ammunition. Hate requires fire. Hate is ignorance. Ignorance of the power of love.
Love is peace. Love grows from contentment,
contemplation, and gratitude.
True love is still.
True love is stable.
In the face of love – hate has no ammunition. Hate has no fuel to run rampant and burn communities, civilizations, and leave its black mark on history.
In the face of unyielding hate I choose love.
—
I know I am fortunate to do so. If you are fortunate enough to choose love as well, I hope you do.
I hope you guide others to transform their hate, their ignorance to love. To dose this fire with the healing flow of love. To put out the flame of hate the only way we can…with true love.
Only love.
Only true love can expel hate. We must be first.
The firsts to be brave enough to display love in the face of unquenchable hate. In the midst of immense pain and suffering. Breaking free from the veil of ignorance that chains us to hate.
We must be the firsts.
The firsts to transform ignorance to love.
To compassion. To knowing.
To knowing we are one.
—
We must be brave.
And we are. I know we all are.
We are all strong enough to love. To discover true love inside of ourselves.
—
Let our love be infinite and gratitude endless.
Let our hate crumble in the face of love.
Let our hate fumble as it fiends for ammunition.
Let our hate continue to sprint on a dissipating track.
—
Only then will it be clear love is the answer.
That hate cannot exist in the face of true love.
Love that knows no bounds.
Love that does not judge or question.
Love that radiates and grows in the face of hate.
Love that can penetrate even the darkest of rooms.
Love is radiant. And so are you.
—
I choose love in the face of hate because I can. I know you can as well.
And I hope you do. I hope you guide others to love.
To hope.
As love is our only hope.
