Must everything happen for a reason?

everything happens for a reason you’ve heard that before, haven’t you? but does it really? is it possible that life simply occurs— without cause or causation, without reason or reasoning, without promise or promising? and is this something we may come to accept,to believe,to practice? to remind ourselves there need not be a reason, that not everything must…

The space in between my brows

The space in between my brows Where my eyebrows furl  And my nose scrunches  My shoulders tighten  And my glutes tense  My kneecaps draw in And my toes curl  My teeth grit against one another  Until I’m reminded  Until I’m told Until my toes fall outwards  My glutes soften My shoulders sink  And the space…

About Me

Hi, I’m Shereen! Poetry is a way for me to share the learnings I’ve experienced in this life.

I started SoSheDares to inspire women to venture off on their own.

SoSheDares has become much more, it’s a calling to set us all free. To inspire, to create beauty and lasting joy. To share sorrow and build community.

I hope my writing inspires and comforts you. I hope it give you the hug and the reassurance you need to continue. To push past doubt and dread and pursue your heart and joy.

Enjoy!
